FM Radio on N800!!!
Thanks to Jens Becker (and Jaffa who already posted his findings on maemo-developers list) amd his patience I've just found FM radio is WORKING on Nokia N800!
For some reason it's not showing up in my packages' lists but fmradio app is here!!!

It could be nice to have this repo in your sources.list as well:
deb http://repository.maemo.org/catalogue/certified bora userOnce installed go to the applet selection, and add "FM Radio" to your desktop.
Headphones are needed in order to operate radio, but you can both listen from headphones as well from speakers.

UPDATE: Thanks to X-Fade, FMradio application is now showing up in downloads. Here is direct install link

One correction: You don't need headphones per se, just a cable plugged into the 3.5 mm socket. It works with my battery-powered speakers and I bet it'll work with a cable cut off from an old pair of earbuds as well. Just configure the applet to use the N800's speakers.

Out of curiosity, why do you need a headphone plugged in for the sound to work? It seems a rather bizarre limitation for a device with two perfectly good little stereo speakers built into it...

Hearphones' cable is used as antenna.
