Basic networking tools on Garage

I just started a new project on Garage. It will contains packages for basic network utilities (ping, host, traceroute, etc...).

First release contains iputils' ping, arping and tracepath. After initial testing they will be uploaded to extra repository.

Tsk, that's exactly what http://mud-builder.garage.maemo.org/ is for (although I can't get garage uploading working at the moment - it rejects my GPG key)

Why not just port the GNOME network tools to Maemo? Or is this to port the stuff that that UI would need?

As of now the main achievement is to get basic command line tools. :)
MUD should be used for next releases.
